UConn Sociology Professor Mary Bernstein has recently had a published interview in the Hartford Courant’s article “She’s a Sandy Hook survivor and a UConn student. Her passion now also is gun violence prevention.” She spoke to how youth activism, sparked in part by school shootings such as Sandy Hook, plays an important part in the movement for gun violence prevention.
