Reserve a Meeting Room

The Department of Sociology shares the Manchester Hall building with the Department of Philosophy. There are several meeting rooms available to book by members of the departments. Use the linked Bookings calendar to view room availability and create a reservation. Under "select a service" click on the appropriate meeting length, ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Next, under "select staff" click on the room you would like to book. You will then be able to click on a date and view the availability under "time." Select the desired time, add your details, and click "book" to reserve the room. If you'd like to set up a recurring meeting please contact department staff.

Seminar Room (125)

Located on the first floor near the north entrance, the seminar room is a large conference room with hybrid functionality. This room utilizes the same classroom technology found around campus, and the panel is located on the wall below the TV.

Basement Lounge (002)

Located in the center of the building on the basement level, the lounge is a large room with two tables, rolling chairs, and arm chairs. This room utilizes the same classroom technology found around campus, and the panel is located on the wall below the TV.
