Economic Sociology, Political Economy; Digital and Platform Economy; Migrant Workers; Income Distribution, Labor Markets and Public Policy.
My research explores the “alienation” of workers in the digital economy, and examines how the platform economy may control and reinforce of the “involution” of labor relations. Through a combination of quantitative and qualitative analyses, I explore these pressing issues. My work aims to extend to more complex areas, including the survival strategies of women in the productivity sphere of the digital age; social networks and intergenerational conflict; the transformation of worker resistance; the frontiers of techno-philosophical development and the impact of technological advancements on workforce marginalization; and family income, social mobility.
