Research projects:

In my M.A. I studied Indian tech unions’ online campaigns through the early months of the pandemic.

In my doctoral dissertation, I shall present a comparative study of Indian tech workers’ mobilization in their home country and in the U.S. My qualitative study will focus on the impact of transnational migration on the scope of resistance in this industry.

I bring together the theories of neoliberal governmentality, coloniality and globalization. My aim is to investigate how translocal hierarchies of gender, caste and race persist in this global industry, and determine the methods of labor movements.
