Davida Schiffer

Davida Schiffer graduated from University of Maryland with a BA in Government and Politics. As an intern at
the National Center for Transgender Equality, she witnessed the tangible power of state policies—progressive
and hostile—on people’s lives. Joining UConn as an Outstanding Scholars Fellow, Davida intends to pursue
her work on the intersections of human rights and transgender identities.
